For any of those who have seen Married Life, the director Ira Sachs obviously went with a very different direction for his main title sequence.
However I liked this live action direction so I included it.
For the shoot I bought finches and rented a large antique bird cage to photograph them in. Simon Clowes of Prologue assisted me with the
shoot (setting up, lighting, recovering escaped birds, etc). The birds reside happily in a prologue employee's home.
